The bottom line I was tired of driving a Cobalt. When people think Cobalt, they think Cavalier . My SS/SC was a nice car, but it was slow as hell. The best I got out of it was 14.2 @ 98 MPH. Can it go fater? Sure, but I will be damned if I put any money into a car that will be worth 9 grand in 3 years.

The GTO already has, JBA LT Headers, Catless Mid Pipes and a SLP Catback coming in the mail. Next month will be the Ligenfelter Intake and a Tune. On DR's that combo will run
12's all day long and I dont have to worry about breaking something.

You did exactly what I plan to do (color and everything) whenever I get my cobalt back from the dealer...its been there for 21 days. Im hoping it will be there for 9 more days so I can file lemon law and get more for the cobalt than I would trading it in. I found the exact gto I want (orange, 6spd, 18in wheels) in nashville.

Great choice and hopefully I will be doing the same soon.

BTW what did your cobalt sell/trade for. I owe 23000 on mine (yeah ouch i know) and I know I wont get anything near that on trade.

You are going to take a beating on that trade... You are going to get $17,500 tops.. I got $17,000 and paid $29,950 for the GTO. They built 484 Brazen Orange M6's, with 18's....
