If you go to Kev place Sw4y1313, to have the work done, which I would suspect, let me know when and I would love to head up there with you as well.

We could meet in Logan or Bear lake area or somewhere in that area. That should be a sweet little road trip!
Yeah man! we'll get it all figured out on the 19th. we were thinking a 3 day weekend just after that to do the work in denver, then ill drive home for the rest of it and additional tuning. I dont wanna fully tune it in denver when i live 2000ft lower elevation.

also look into porting that saab mani before you put it on and the head when you rebuild it for 7500-8500 rpms ( is there a reason you are wanting to rev that high)
Well it is a combination of Cubic inches, stroke, head design, and intake...and power adders

Also if we go my route no need for the Saab Mani...

There was supposed to be some great, nicely edited vid of the car, but its never materialized. I dont think anyone doubts the car, we all would just like to see some good action vids taken with a decent camera.

dude give these guys a break...you think honestly if you had one of the only turbo 2.2s or were waiting for good news or bad news about something (wink wink) do you think you'd be checking here every 5 mins to see who wants vids and who doesn't

THIS GUYS ARE FREAKING BUSY

not to be a dick but if you wanna know how the car sounds/drives

call alpine and order a turbo kit like they did

btw to the op and speed mafia

track i went to just opened didnt have any rubber on it yet brand new surface for 07

long story short
1 car crashed and another almost did
i was the only fwd out there goin at it with the big boys who where all on slicks or drs

it was an 8th mile track my best time was 9.01 best trap was 85

problem was my 2.4xx 60 fts and spinning half way down the track

fastest car of the day was a stang that ran 5.80 at like 120

sorry for the thread jack

I will be taking a ton, or so I hope, of pics and vids when I get my kit. Vids for sure when the cars done and I fire it up for the first time with the turbo on!

I will try to take as many pics of the process as I can. I am going to have my little bro help me and a friend from work wants to come over and help too. So I will have a few extra hands for pics and vids.....

Should be getting it mid week!!!!

Actually, based on MY pressure ratio and CFM in lbs/min, a 60 trim is about right for me. It puts the boost @ 8psi and at 6450k rpm, right in the sweet spot of the compressor map...
Right where you want it be be most efficient!

first of all a 60 trim a 8 psi isnt gonna be efficent a 60 trim inst a lil bigger than a mitzu tdo5 its 3 times bigger a sixty trim is about 3-4 times bigger then my stock turbo on my srt4

a 60 trim will make around 600 whp at 25 psi

this isnt the turbo for you

Well poop... Remember, John did not remember off the top of his head the size. I wonder if he got the housing size confused....

What size is your trim?

Well, wither way, the turbo is designed specifically for the 2.2L eco, so I am sure that it will work great. I guess I will have to wait for Kev to get the map posted up to really find out....

Thanks for the info thoug...
