2.4 SC'd boost issue

Hey all, just had a sc setup installed on my 07 2.4 5spd. Basically everything came from a used lsj, except for a new RAW cai. Also put on an aem wideband and mechanical boost gauge. Tune is conservative as its a daily driver. The issue I am having is after roughly 5 minutes of driving, I only get 2-2.5 psi at wot. When cold, I get about 7psi, which is about what i expected on the stock pulley, and the car pulls hard. The only thing that gets the boost back up is shutting down the car and letting it cool. Of course then after 5 minutes of driving, back down to 2 psi and the car feels slower than when my 2.4 was stock. Read about the intercooler pump failures, checked that and its fine. Saw a post about pjk91 having an early issue with only 2 psi bc of boost bypass valve ...maybe mine is hooked up incorrectly?. Anyone have any ideas or constructive advice?!?!!! Thanks!
-Brent

my first bet would be the bypass valve, theres really no other reason to be loosing boost like that. It might also be belt slipping...

Researched the external boost bypass valve and checked out how mine was setup. Upper hose was connected to the top of the supercharger, lower hose was plugged(on an lsj this hose ran to a solenoid that basically regulated boost). Took the advice of beck and pjk91 and unplugged this lower hose. Drove into work tonight and boosted 7-8 psi whenever I wanted, which became a problem with wet roads and dead stock tires!! Gonna meet up with my tuner next week just to log some files and make sure timing is still good for the boost and daily driving...thanks again guys!
