Exclamation 2007 Pontiac G5

Grettings to Everyone!!!
Its good to be in this forum even tough i dont have a cobalt but its something like it lol, hope its nothing bad...
Well I got a 2007 Pontiac G5 3 weeks ago and i got it super cheap at $11,000 and its fully loaded with the orange color, sunroof, carbon fiber trim, cruise control and so on, so im really happy with it. Now i dont know much about this cars because ive been into V8' Chevys, so its a new experience. I ordered the Garrett Cobalt Tuner Kit for it and im really close to finish but it seems as the turbo manifold hits a metal tube on the bottom and it puts pressure on it so all the coolant come off so i took it off again and i saw that theres a loop in the manifold but the very end its the one that puts the pressure i cant stop because i already tapped the oil boss so only choice i got its to continue. Would it be wrong if I was to shave a little of the loops just enough for it not to push the tube down? Would it make any problems at all?
All the help, tips would be appreciated

Turbo kit was installed after all, had to shave some of the turbo manifold in order to get evrtyhing fit rigth, everything came out great really love the sound will be posting pictures tomorrow. Only problem was that the inlet water fitting was leaking coolant also the oil fitting that goes connected to the block had to take to a local performance shop so they could both of the leakages since i no longer have time to work on it due to work lol finally everything was fixed and i should received and exhaust in a couple days but for tuning i ordered the jet chip just for meanwhile another tune comes out so fars the only modinfications performance wise are the turbo kit, exhaust (high flow cat, muffler) spark plugs (had to use bosch platinum 2 since were the best i could get around here) and the chip any other suggestions you guys migth have were i could go next. Pictures tomorrow and hopefully i get a dyno too...
Have some great days people!!!

By The Way Yes Alton Is A Cool Place lol evrything here around the valley is fun I mean the bar & Grill Places and stuff the whole valley gets packed on saturday nigth its really fun out here compared to Houston were i used to live.

After Using the turbo for about a week the engine broke down...I am unsure of the problem but it seems to make alot of knocking noise continuesly and then after a while it turns off or when i come to a stop it just turns off now i dont know what was the problem, if it was the chip, turbo...everybody i ask around says the same thing its a piston pin but oh well. i have purchased an engine and i will build it from bottom to top since i dont have anything else to do lol... but this really sucks

Its because you didnt have any tuning man. Im sorry it happened, i know how it feels. You need more then just a chip to tune for it. Since you have an 07 i believe your supported by LS2Edit which is basically HPTuners. Check it out after you get that engine built. I had to do the same thing. Just make sure you dont buy a Centerforce clutch right now. You wont get it for awhile... heh..

Ouch.......as soon as I read that he wasn't getting it tuned, I knew his engine was done for. A tune is MANDATORY when installing a turbocharger on a car that doesn't originally come with one. My guess would be the computer didn't put nearly enough fuel through the engine causing it to run brutally lean....which could totally cook a piston........or 4.
