when im doing city driving with my turbo swapped 2.2 first gear no boost as soon as i shift to second its 7 psi (max boost) same with 3rd
while highway driving with my cruise set at 70mph it will boost to 0-2 and blow off CONSTANTLY. any idea how to fix that? its really annoying
other than those complaints/issues it feels awesome!

im leaning more towards the wastegate... im only running 7 psi with no boost controller. i am about to change a diaper then go install it and up the boost to 12 psi and see if it helps as well as put a muffler on lol my exhaust consists of a catted dp and a resonator then ~3 feet of open exhaust... add some resistance to slow down the flow.

So if you delay the time it takes to open the wastegate, it's still going to do the same thing it's doing now. Are you sure you understand how a wastegate works?
is it a tuning issue? cause when i first got dyno tuned and we got all done i could barely drive on the street because i was at WOT at like 50% throttle. I would just give the car a little gas and it would bring me to 23psi of boost and it was rediculous. I would be jerking all around trying to take off normal at a stop light. WOund up being they had my desired air loads set high at real low RPM's or something or other and they forgot to fix them after they took it off the dyno. They said its easier to dyno it like that and there supposed to fix it b4 it comes off. maybe thats your problem?

you got the opposite issue of me. with my MBC fully clockwise i only hit like 14 psi. i gotta check for boost leaks. and at WOT it takes me a long ass time to get up to "full boost", like 4.5k rpm
your right, however i was searching the net today and found a solution... adjust the wga rod to where it doesnt 100% close. by doing this some of the exhaust gases will bypass the turbo thus delaying the spool time, giving me a broader powerband, and allowing me to drive without hearing fffsssseeeewwww every 10 secs

Adjusting the WG rod is probably what needs done. Also, if your WG has interchangeable springs, change it out to a lower PSI spring, and run the MBC. Also, if your BOV has interchangeable springs, check and switch it out for a harder spring that might keep it shut better. Its not a tuning issue, because the car has no control over the boost, when you are running a boost controller (and your car didn't anyway).
Wrong. He should not be cruising in boost, regardless. He should be cruising at a vacuum, typically on a flat road, about 60mph he should see about -10mmhg of vacuum.

granted he should not be cruising in boost because as soon as he lets off the throttle the vaccum should be opening up the BOV..........which sounds like whats happening to his annoyance. i'd dare say increasing the boost just to get rid of an annoying bov is risky at best.
BUT, adjusting the WG rod with less pretension will help it.
