best way to port an m62

i have a 2.2 im thinking about scing, got a m62 that was started to be ported but didnt get too far. whats the best way to port it, make the triangle taller, wider, or both? (dimensions anyone?)

and i have read that you shouldnt weld the silencer holes closed because it warps the rotor guides or something, but i have seen a couple welded with no problemsand i would think its safer than quick steel... opinions on that?

Sounds like he made the blower useless. The triangle matches the rotors. It was designed for that. Cant imagine squaring it off would yield and benefits.
