blow off valve

I was wondering if you could put on a blow off valve on a super charger. Sometimes when I would look up performace parts blow off valves would come up and I dont think they would work on superchargers. If anyone knows any thing about it let me know thanks.

im pretty sure you cant get one on these, those websites are just really unorganized. if you read about the blow off valves on those sites they say something like, "work great for any turbo charged vehicles", they dont say anything about supercharged cars. i prefer the whine of the supercharger anyway, personal opinion...

They would be useable if the SC was not directly attached to the intake manifold.

Do they hook up to a vacuum line? How is that supposed to work? Don't worry I'm not gonna get one, well not for my car anyway, just curious.

I'm with you, I LOVE the sound of a s/c whine. I don't like the BOV sound as much...or much at all for that matter. I saw a fake SRT4 with the electronic BOV on it a while ago. Actually the BOV was what fooled me, I didn't think it was a real SRT-4 (the funniest part of this is the kid lives somewhere near me and is always revving at my car). I asked a friend who has the real deal and he said "Naw, that looks like an SXT with an aftermarket body kit, it's not the SRT unless they made it look like an SXT." But I ran into the kid at Wal-Mart showing off his car (yes, at Wal-Mart) and just happened to get a good, long look under the hood and noticed that there was no turbo to be found. I wanted to punch the kid for being a poser but decided to just laugh at him instead.
