Blower condition/grease?
Blower condition/grease?
Looking at picking up a spare blower from someone. Though I have a question.
He plugged the silencer holes. (used a dremel then alcohol to prep then quiksteel) any ways he said the blades were slightly hitting the plugs so he shaved a tiny bit off.My question is that in the housing there is very fine "scratches" around the plugged area. It's more like a tiny scuffs, you can't feel them and polishing would take care of them, I've seen them. He just changed the oil in it and hasn't had it on a car. It spins fine, no scratching or grinding rotors are fine. My question is: will leaving it like that have any effect on the air or heat? I mean I wouldn't think it would mess the air flow up more than the silencer holes.
Also any one know what kind of grease is used in the rotor bearings?
Please no guessing, only answer if you really know.

I will keep a check on the silencer plugs. They would have to be tiny pieces to make it past the IM.
