boost bypass for ss/sc models
boost bypass for ss/sc models
does anybody know of any way to get a blow off valve or a boost bypass valve to work on a 2005 cobalt ss/sc. I got the car for my wife and she loves it sooo much that at 10,000 miles she needs new tires already, she also LOVES the sound of a turbo BOV and I'd like to give her that sound. If anybody could help thanks.
you can plumb a T into one of the vacumm lines off of the boost bypass valve and add a few inches of line to it and add a bov with the spring cut in half and set the lowest and its good to go there are threads and someone on www.redline forums.com did so search around on there
*wapissshhh*
did anyone hear that? it sounded like a whip. tell your wife it's a supercharger and you won't rice it out by putting an unnecessary BOV on it. j/k, just bustin' your *****.
seriously though, i have heard from people with cobalts and other supercharged cars that it's possible to "force" one on. (see the post by kyyankee)
