When doing a Boost Gauge install what are some ways to get the vacuum hose through to under the hood to be able to T off the hose in order to receive the correct reading to the gauge?

 

i didnt want to do this so i bought an autometer electronic boost gauge. 3 wires and i was done. no vacuum line through my car. i bought it on ebay for the price of a mechanical boost gauge.

you can run the vacuum hose through the firewall connector just under the master cylinder. if you look under the drivers footwell you can see the connector going into the firewall.

Mechanical boost gauge is better and more precise.

 

mechanical is definitely the way to go
