Borla exhaust question!

alright everyone.. so ive been doing research on the borla catback for the chevy cobalts. now i have the 2006 ss/sc and the catback made for the sc is 2.25 in and the borla made for the tc is a 2.5in. now are these interchangable. like could i put the 2.5 on my sc? or no. somebody help please. my next step is my header, downpipe and catback and need to know what to get.

I didnt know Borla made an SS/TC catback. Do you have any links? If they do you would just need to swap the 3-bolt connection flange to a 2-bolt.

well here is the link. its straight off of the borla site so its expensive but im just showing you the 2 exhausts. Search Results - BORLAŽ - The World's Most Winning Exhaust

and the reason being im trying to go from a badmab header to a 3inch zzp downpipe with the 2.5connector for the catback. then go to the 2.5 borla. but i wanna know if it will work. i would i change the flange to a 2 bolt

The Borla catback for the turbo looks like it doesnt contain a resonator. A non resonated catback on the ss/sc wont sound good.

For the price Borla is charging i would look into purchasing a Corsa Touring catback. I have one, and it sounds amazing. It's a 2.5" catback, and is a direct fit. I purchased my Corsa for around $750 last year brand new.

Hmm this is the first I've seen of an Actual borla exhaust for the ss/tc. I've got a borla muffler on stock exhaust, but I wonder how this sounds. And to the op, from what I've heard in person, the corsa sounds very good.

Edit: I hate typing on my phone.
