A friend told me the other day about a little metal piece that you can buy to put the in stock BOV that holds it open longer when releasing pressure and makes the rush air sound louder coming out, but he never told me what it was called or where to find it. Any of you know what im talking about?

 

i feel like hes talking about the dejon spring but this is what you want. and its a BPV.

So its just a diverter valve? Ehh prob wont get it, cus my buddy has one on his gli and it sounds to fluttery, and he has issues with back pressure because of it.

 

its a bypass valve, it replaces the stock one. and there are alot of people that have it and no problems really. ive had it on my car for atleast 3k miles and havent had one problem.

now bov's on the other hand will give you some trouble.

 

Is it alot louder than the stock one?

 

yeah you would be surpised. and the stock one is plastic/rubber. this one is machined aluminum and wont break or tear like the stock one.

if you really want it to get louder, get the k&n short ram intake. it is LOUD haha

 

Easy to install?

 

if your talking about the BPV yeah its easy. i did it when i was putting my intake on so it was easier. just pop off the intake and its just 3 bolts.
