BOV on stock SS/TC?

i want to put a BOV on my stock 2009 SS/TC. is that even possible ? bc i heard they have what is called a bypass valve that reroutes the air back into the motor. so is there a way you can install a BOV? is it hard ? easy? any help would be great thanks guys

You'd need charge pipes and a block off for the stock bypass valve. Most people are gonna say not to do it on stock turbo because most people have issues with it

^^^ second this few of us have put on BOVs with stock turbo and had minimal issues i for one have installed one on stock turbo, treadtsone block off plat$24 i think your going to need charge piping lots of designs and company's offer so your choice and your choice of bov as well, the bov should come with a flange and it should be fairly cheap to have it welded on like $35-$60 depending where you want it mounted. and good to go, Some will say get a tune for it or a new intake with a maf relocate $200+ maf extension harness $30 and your goin to need new lower charge pipe but you can get a upper n lower set for a good deal, believe theres a set on the classifieds made by hahn for $250 i think thats the piping i have.

this is my setup:

yes and no blue bolt... its to me a pointless waste of money. lets just say he uses a tial bov for the cost of 250.00, has to buy pipes for whatever the cost with a flange or have a flange welded to a pipe and do a maf relocation to run it properly the costs add up quite a bit depending on which way you go.

the stock setup works, works good and with a intake you can hear the stock bpv just fine. if you want a good upgrade go with the forge bpv. it needs some maitence but so does any good blow off valve.

a new lower pipe is not always needed either. is it good to replace? sure if your buying a set but its not a 100% neccisity on the stock setup.
