How involved is this to install?
How much room does a seperate tank/pump take up?
What kind of wiring do I need to worry about?
Where can I find a good meth/water mix? Does it hurt to use the windshield washer fluid?

Actually these are really easy to install. Most cobalt installers mount the controller on the dash. Remember our conroller is 1/4 the size of other controllers on the market. Then hook up 4 wires from the controller. Ground, power, signal wire to your map sensor, and power wire to the pump.
Most people mount the pump in there fender area, and they use there stock washer tank. Whats nice about doing it this way is you don't have something taken up space in your trunk. That you always have to fit your stuff around.
The wiring is pretty easy, We supply these http://www.alcohol-injection.com/art...-connectors-3/ with every kit so it really speeds up the install and your don't have to hack up your wiring.
Any of your local race tracks have meth for sale. Usually cheapest to buy it there and then buy distilled water and mix it 50/50. Nope your cheaper washer fluids are perfect for injecting. Most washer fluids are made with just water and methanol.

Does the meth or meth/water mix have any effect on the supercharger? I know it cools it down but does it take any coating off the blades? ANY cons of using meth?

Tennpenn83 We have quite afew tanks we sell seperate to the kit. Don't want to force people into a paticular tank if they don't need it. http://www.alcohol-injection.com/tanks-6/
I will see if i can find the pics i have of an install on a redline.
Its honestly debatable, I still have all the teflon on the rotors on my car. My business partner are 100% clean. Just like i can find a stock car with no feflon. I think it just boils down to the process when it was applyed. Now the water/methanol injection kit will help seal the rotors if the teflon is startting to flake off.
ikeryder13 The methanol/water injection kits only come on when your engine is under boost. This is when your engine is under load and when the most heat is being produced.

Its acutally adjustable. If you look at the enlarged picture you will see 2 knobs. The knob on the left is the start point knob. You usually adjust this to 1/4 of your max boost. The 2nd knob is where the system runs the pump at full.. You will want to set this knob at aprox. 3/4 of your max boost.

Sorry missed the 2nd part of the question. Water/methanol injection is a supporting mod for the car. It allows for you to run a more agressive tune, "more boost, more timing, more power" So tunning the car and adding more boost and timing is going to make you the power you want. Just putting it on and not adjusting anything on the car the gains are going to be min.

elaborate.... lol
reason is, eventually, like around tax return time, i'll be getting my harrop. would like to know all supporting mods i need to get there. i think for the most part i have what i need except the 60's, meth, and exhaust.
and does the harrop have any coating on the blades? what is it made of? on either the eaton or the harrop, what do i have to worry about - will the coating get into the engine?

with more air comes more pressure with more pressure comes more heat. It does the job well but it can still run into heat issues. On the 2.75" and the 5 gph nozzle with a 30/70 mix i was going through the traps at 153 with a iat1 of 100

2.75" pulley equals how much boost? how much boost can you run before even the 60's aren't enough? you said meth of course, but were you running any dual-pass w/ opt b or additional heat exchanger like i have?
