ECU Chip

I was looking at one of these and was wondering how much they can really effect your performance. I saw they can add 50 horsepower and add 38% tourqe gain. So what kind of things should I look for to know what kind of changes to expect if I were to get one?

No gains. They are garbage and a scam, as was said above

Depends on what kind of chip it is. If its a ECU reflash or replacement of some sort, then it may give you a decent gain. Same with a replacement intercooler. Not sure what WRX forums are out there, but positive those guys would have better experience with those specific products than anyone on these forums would.

Edit: I am assuming this is for a WRX, correct?

if you have a cobalt, there are no chips out, and it will probably hurt your performance more than anything else...
