Eh, between working full time, two grad classes and a bunch of other **** going on...I really just haven't had time to do much with this. Not to mention, the sleeves still won't be ready for another week at the least...

Still coming apart, actually. I still have to have the machine shop tear down the block and ship it to Darton. Hopefully things will start to move faster once Darton has the block.

nope was a serious question. did you test the flow on it? are you getting equal flow in the runners? any sort of heat soaking in the manifold itself? what type of gaskets were used for the installation of the throttle body to manifold itself??? just some things to consider.

The manifold was not tested as we do not have simple access to a flow bench. It was, however, designed with fluid dynamics and optimal flow in mind. That manifold is cool to the touch when I stop the vehicle after a few hard pulls. Everything has been considered...

Such a nice clean turbo set up Next winter Im going to redo my charge piping..gotta keep up with the jones's. 06 when you say the gate placement I'm assuming you mean the wastegate placement on the turbo mani...why is it the worst place possible? it seems fairly common on alot of tubular equal lengths to be located there? Should it be at the top?

Edubs: Your piping is all 2.5" other than a small section of 3" where the MAF is located right? and then it goes back to 2.5" then to the throttle body? I was under the impression that once u went to 3" for the maf section you should carry that sizing all the way to the TB?

I have a spare 3071 cartridge if you're seriously looking for one...

They're on the underside facing towards the top of the radiator. Just use vacuum hoses to attach. I explained it a few pages back, I think...

Block should be shipped out to Darton next week to get my sleeves in. From there, it'll take a few weeks to put everything back together. I'm hoping to have it up and running early April...

Ideally, the wastegate flange should be angled for optimum flow. Unless you're going to be running over 24psi, there will be no issue with that flange the way it is. Also, there will be clearance issues with the dump if it were put at an angle. This manifold is perfect for those looking to make good power. If you're looking to make power like Paul or Bryan (over 600bhp) then yes, this manifold needs to be redesigned for you...

Definitely a pic that makes me happy, cause that means I'm getting closer to having it back up and running.

Yes, 2.5" except for 8-12" or so for the MAF. As far as my research has lead me to believe, this is the way to run it. It wasn't hard for me to get the car idling perfect with this setup w/ 60lb/hr SD's and Cams.

The turbo manifold can easily be made w/o the external flange, but if you want to eventually upgrade turbos, you can buy one like mine. What turbo are you running? This manifold was actually designed around our special built T3/T4 hybrid, but works w/ the GT3071. We would need to test fitment for any other turbo...
