Thanks. No clue.

Technically, it was supposed to be done and running in Feb, so I'm not making any promises now. Still have to wait for fabrication on the new intake manifold too. The original one in this thread has the 4" plenum, which is all well and good for up to 400whp'ish. Since I'm going bigger, he's fabricating a 6" plenum race version once the motor is in...

Good deal. FYI, careful getting the stock badge off. You can chew up the plastic cover pretty good if you don't heat things up enough...

Can't remember, but it wasn't terrible. It's always gonna cost more than a typical one-off vinyl sticker when it has the liquid dome overlay. Just, fyi...

I'll end up painting it black cause it'll kill me to watch that pretty silver get covered in oil, grease and dirt over the first couple weeks after it goes in...

The motor is not even in the car, as you can see from the updated pictures...

It's going to be street tuned, fyi. Dyno may come eventually, but isn't really a concern of mine. Essentially, it'll make what a 3071 makes at about 22-23psi on a well tuned motor...

You're going to need something stickier than those General's if you want any traction at all! lol. Nice build! That intake mani is wicked!

Wait till you see the new manifold when it's done.

I am aware the traction will be an issue. I'll prob end up throwing some cheater slicks up front and saving those tires to replace the back ones when they need it. I've been doing my research on DR's while the car has been down...

Hopefully you guys get the oil filter issue fixed. I'm dreading my oil change.

I just ordered 225/45/17 BFG DR's for my spare set of RL wheels.

I don't know why you're dreading it. I told you already, I've tested and proved that you can do it with the manifold installed.

How much did you end up scoring the BFG's for?

$157 a piece mounted and balanced from Cheney Tire. He matched and beat discount tire's price.

I'm only saying because I tried when the car was at SMG and I ended up just taking the manifold off. I'm going to try again this time and see what happens.

That's a good deal.

Worst case scenario, you'll have to split the cap from the filter after you lift it up a few inches. I know I was concerned about it from the get-go too but Ryan and I tested it and you just have to angle it a bit as you lift up. You gotta remember that the filter is not as wide as the cap, so you get more clearance once you get passed the the cap threading...

I don't mean to raise the dead, but how is that RD fabs intake manifold working out for you? Any issues with it? I'm looking at purchasing it. Also, I noticed in the photos that I didn't see bungs for the MAP sensor and the supercharger pressure sensor? Does it come with all that goodstuff.
