If it's a cheap bov yes, but if it's a quality bov it will be less likely to fail than the stock bpv.

I just thought of something. When you set up an appointment with zzp to get a tune, do they ask you for what type of mods you have? Or do they just have you come in and they look at it in person and tune it from there? I have seen like HPtuners and stuff ask for mods. I don't know how I would explain any of these stuff because I do not know what any of it is called or how it interacts with the setup

No they ask on their site because you are getting a canned tune not custom so they load the intake trims into your tune that they have on file to get it somewhat close. If you go see them they will start by setting your maf and fuel trims custom to your car then tune it for power

Alright cool. Well hey KM043 and others - thanks a lot for all of your help haha. I've learned a lot from all the input into this thread! I'm hoping to make it up to zzp within a few months before it gets colder out. Unfortunately, the bank would only give me a 3 year loan rather than a 5 year loan, so my car payments almost twice what I was originally planning on paying. I'll get up there sometime...I really wanna see what my car can kick out after a very good custom tune! : )

Hey KMO43,

I was reading up some stuff on zzp's website and read that they prefer to do work on vehicles that are using ZZP parts. Will my custom intake setup that is not using ZZP parts prevent me from getting tuned by ZZP? Also I've had a few check engine lights come on and off here and there stating that it has been running lean for too long of a period of time.

I'm sure they'll still tune it, but that's a question to ask them.

i didnt want to read thru 8 million comments, but i wanted to chime in. just to confirm, larger diameter charge pipes and a bigger intercooler will INCREASE turbo lag. not reduce spool time.

also, running 22psi from the k04, after 4500rpm up you are inefficient
