Getting away from mobile 1

So from what I hear, Mobil 1 is horrible quality now. I'm thinking about switching up to ams oil. Any suggestions? I put this in the forced induction area because I do have a bigger turbo and like to go WOT a lot and from what I hear people are real serious about which oil they like to go through their turbo, so I'm all ears.

Not a big rp fan anyways but thanks. I'm thinking ams oil because a few turbo guys around here swear by it, but the are all srt 4 owners and Evo owners. So I just want some feed back from the cobalt community.

I switched from mobile1 to amsoil in my Evo on the first oil change after I bought it. I love it. You can feel the engine run much smoother. And amsoil lasts longer so you don't have to do oil changes as often. The Evo crowd seems to really love Amsoil and Brad Penn.

I'm running AMSOIL here and will not go with anything else. I love it because AMSOIL offers detergents in their oils that will prevent any saturation of the oil during its life-span(in the engine) from using fuels like E85.

Amsoil dealer here, can get you Amsoil filter and 6 quarts of the Signature series(+1 top off) for $88 shipped to your door.

In what way has Mobil 1 quality changed? Ive never had any issue that I know of using and I've always used it even in my last cars.

I run amsoil in my gsxr I love it when I can find it. It's around 11 a quart so I don't get to run it too often lol but I can tell a difference from using Mobil 1 4t which is 8.99 a quart

I'll look into the as well. I really want amsoil but it is pricey. And I'll get you a log soon, I'm kinda waiting on a cooler night, this ga temp has just been nasty.

Compared to 26 dollars for a 5 quart jug and 9 dollars for a filter, yea..... It is a little expensive. And right now a change my oil about every 2 months because of how I like to drive my car, I give it hell. But not during the summer lol. But if I do go with amsoil I'll prob. Change it about every 4 months or so.

Unfortunatley IB is pretty slow to respond to vendor requests at times.
