going go so far BUT! my ecu wont let jeremy's hpt pull the old tune or download the new tune for some reason

Dunno. Car isn't running so no way to scan anything.

I might have to delete a file as HPT told me to do. But nobody gave me a clear answer as to if it will mess up my Beta or not...

And I need Beta for my LNF as it's no longer stock.............

well brandon deleted the file and it worked for those cars, but he doesn't have a lnf so i can understand you not wanting to delete the file. if hpt themselves told you to do it then there should be no problem right?

Very simple, copy and paste the file to another location. If it works great, if not copy it back.


I'm assuming this cfg file is built based on launch of the application to each machine specific.

So no harm in deleting after you backup, just make sure file path and name are the same.

thats what i said in our orlando thread but its not my hpt so i kinda kno how he feels..
