Hahn or ZZP?

Okay guys, I am ready to slap down the bucks to get a 2.4 turbo system and 3" cat-back exhaust for my automatic Cobalt SS. I have taked to both companies via phone and e-mail and have gotten some positive and negative impressions from both of them. It's alot of money to spend so I want to know that I am putting it in the right place. Who do you think I should go with and why?

ZZP, better parts for the money, cheaper, has full evidence of their results, including timeslips, videos at the track and dyno videos.

ZZP has had a few negative posts in the past six months, I.E. Quiet Resonator and Flex pipe, but they have fixed most of those issues and their turbo kit is probably going to offer more power at a cheaper price.

I'd stick with ZZP, you can't beat price/performance of their products

hahn has more of a rep so ur paying for the name, doesnt mean its better quality. ZZP is up and coming, hit a few rough spots but have hit the nail on the head with their turbo kit, why pay more for less, doesnt make sense

ZZP is cheaper. But I'm sure it's at least decent quality.

Basically, you can't really go wrong!

hahn makes nice stuff but their tune file they send BLOWs and it's nothing special really you're paying for the name WHICH unfortunately means you're OVER paying .. their catback is really nice .. but it's a price to perfoermance and quality thing like someone said before ZZP really hit the nail on the head for this one

In the middle of installing the stage 3. No real mechanical experience and the only problem I've had so far was I couldn't get the turbo behind the engine, so i just rebuilt it behind

The turbo is fine for our fueling system for now... We can't even max it out due to the fuel wall we hit.

but after it's unlocked... yes the small size and quick spool will be a burden!

I'm leaning more towards ZZP's stage 2 kit. Less wear & tear than the stage 3

Actually before this gets too out of hand, ZZP uses the bullseye s256 turbo made by Borg Warner the same company that makes the turbo for the LNF. I don't think they could have gotten 200+ hp from the dinky LNF turbo on the 2.4L

you mean less hp lol. daily driving with the stage 3 compared to the stage 2 wont make a difference if your not going wot all the time.

stage 3 just supports more hp, u dont have to turn the boost up, atleast then you have the option to up the power further with that kit
