Im messing with the idea of going turbo with my LSJ and I have a friend that runs a machine shop who will make pretty much whatever I can come up with. We have done many jeeps and offroad stuff. This is our first car we have built. We were looking at the Hahn and it does not look like there is to much to them. Who has built one and do you have any tips (what works, what is a waste) or pics we could use to find a starting point. Also looking at trying a turbo mani. if anybody has ideas for that.
The guy is no hack and is extremely good at fab work etc...but making turbo parts is a new deal for both of us.

Oh and I know of a guy that does turbo stuff for a living at his shop, but his help is $$$$$ haha so im hoping somebody on here can help

 

You can go with 3 in piping on both the hot and cold side of the intercooler piping. Most kits from what I gather have gone 2.5 on the hot side. Mine has 3in and works fine
