i better, if i dont ill blame it on tuning , j/k i will see how much the stock injectors can handle, if they can handle the 200+hp ima be making than thats ok no need to upgrade, i dont plan on running more hp until later on after i get my new clutch and flywheel on, i might switch to some lsj injecotrs, since they clip right on, and since tuning iis available and prob might need the extra fuel, they might come on handy, and they average 50 shipped, so if i end up needing them, it wont set me back to long

With even a rough tune, the 16g will belt that out easily if he provides enough fuel! Trust me I know first hand!

lol, yeah i hope so, i will leave the tuning the trifeca, and i will hit the dyno the same day i upload the tune, i will be requesting 3 days off work in a row to get the final setup done, i will be test fitting everything, but will not do a permanent install till i have the tune in my hand ready to upload, in whch i will upload it, drive to the shop, get it dyno'd and emailing it to trifeca for them to adjust it based on my needs, if i recall right, i have a week after the tuner gets to my house to make adjustments

Nope, trust me, i know from experience.. I put #3 rod through my block. My wastegate actuator line was pulled off and the car overboosted to about 20psi. 20psi on my TD04 is about 320hp worth of air(way out of its efficiency tho) and after 2 days of fixing the boost problem, the rod gave out at 2000rpms just cruising. The bottom end of a 2.2 is good for about 230whp and id be worried about pushing it any farther then that because of the CRAPPY pistons it has. The pistons are crap because of the really weak ringlands. I can show you a picture of the 8 i have in my garage right now. They are torn to ****. The rods are good for 300hp but i wouldnt trust them.

EDIT: If you you try to pull the tune card, i can guarantee you it had nothing to do with the tune. I was not seeing ANY knock and my AFR was in the 11.2 area at WOT, even when overboosting. So that should tell you how much power you should put on the stock engine.

Oh man, that is going to be difficult trust me. Thats why im already looking for a new turbo because i dont think ill be happy until im at the 350whp mark. But it costs a lot of money, well not TOO much but my car will be down a year in may so its a little time consuming

i do nt have time for my car to be down, i will be fitting things as they come in, i will fit the IC on one of my days off, route the piping and all, than take it off, will fit the manif and turbo on, than take it off...than on a day ihave 2 days off i will fabricate a dp for it, than take it off, than when i have everrythign ready, i will be taking 3 days off work to install it all, that way there is no rush, even though im sure it wont take more than the first day, seeing how everything would of been test fitted already, also leaves me time to go dyno and maybe make it to the track

stock injectors are only good for about 160hp. id be upgrading and tuning asap, best to find some stage 2 lsj injectors. stock lsj injectors will do, but are pretty well maxed at 210hp.

200hp you should be safe, any more and you will break a piston. a frineds car (2.2 eco swapped into sunbird) we broke 4 pistons. it was always around 11.0:1 afr, never any knock. we had a t3/t04e v-trim, (good for 450hp) and at 5-6psi it ran great, seat of the pants comparison would say probly 220hp (at my best guess). as soon as we went up to 8psi, it would break pistons.

basicly, run it at 5psi, have it dyno tuned, it will make 200hp, but leave it at that. if you want more, get some eagle rods and wiseco 8.9:1 pistons and you should be good to make 300hp, mabey more however id be doing a lot more internal mods at that point.

well GM rates the eco to handle 250hp max with stock internals, i understand that crank power, which is why im only looing for 200, i was planning on picking up some injectors off a stock lsj, seeing how they sell for 50 in the classifieds...thanks for letting meknow the stocks wont make it...also the 16g im using wil be pushin 8-10psi stock, its internally wastegated, and thhe t3/t4 is way bigger than the 16g, 4psi for the t3/t4 is not the same as 4psi from my 16g, the t3/t4 will flow more air@4psi than mine will, the 16g is a baby turbo, well not as much a baby as the 14b, but not a big turbo at all, its a popular turbo amont the DSMtuners

*update*
about to buy some stock lsj injectors from a member here, that should solve the fuel problem, also talked with vince from trifeca, looks like tuning is a maybe, said he is working with the guy who is doing the rear mounted turbo setup, and he hasnt reflashed his ecm yet, said he'll do it later this week, so if that works, than he will have a tune for me to use...its not the same up, so i know i wont be making 100%of the power, but as long as i can hit the dyno and get some a/f numbers, i can call vince and have him re-write a tune based on the numbers from the dyno, and than just feflash the ecm, so idk, i hope the tune works for that other guy, if not than they have time, i mean my build isnt cheduled to be done until october, and i can postpone it for a bit longer...
