My buddy that is breaking in the new clutch and turbo for me since I'm still deployed said that the car is pulling crazy hard at 12psi and he isn't even fully reving it out because the clutch is not fully broke in yet. He has driven it many times himself, so if he's says it's pulling hard I believe him.
yeah but thats also at sea level. im at 2500-2700ft above. so my pressure ratio will be different. Also, the garret calc's put into play pressure loss from an FMIC. so i could probably make 350whp on 20-22psi.

Do you know the specs on the hot side? i hope its like a .63 AR so i dont choke at the top.

7 cm 2 which is the equivalent of a .49A/R. You shouldn't choke up top as many DSM guys have made 400+whp with this turbo at around 24-25psi.

I understand how the compressor map is supposed to work

what I don't get is the math that you're doing that makes 40lb/min = 380hp

Your supposed to put "no homo" by a comment like that! Glad you like the turbo. It's just a great bang for the buck and a highly overlooked turbo. Most people go too big for their application and lose power down low because of lag. With a properly sized turbo lag is very minimal, and it will create a large power band that doesn't drop off.

Did you look at Garrett site and their explanation on how to do the math yet? If not you should really check it out. It will help you understand even better.

the boost gauge is mechanical, and the oil psi is electrical(the ones im seling are in the pics in my first post, the autometers)

just picked up a set of lsj injectors too, 50 bucks, and he threw in the harness for free

ps-i think the turbo is set to .8 bar, somewhere in that area, which converts to 11.6psi

i olny need the turbo manifold, and the tune, when the manifold gets here i will fab the dp and route all the piping, so that manifold is the only thing holding me back from having the kit done, after that there would only be the tune left, and the gauge is electric, comes with the sending unit, you just plug the unit somewhere on the plug, and than a wire runs from the sending unit to the back of the gauge for the signal

intercooler is gay, i made another attemp to mount it, but i coulndt drill thru the collision bar in the front, the impact bar...its to dam hard, my drill barely grazed it, so i will have to weld, i will wait till my piping gets in though, should be here thursday, but i will work on it saturday as i am off, so by saturday i should have the IC piping and the BOv with the BOv adapter, i went with a knock off type rs
