manifold

would a stock manifold ffom a 2.2 or 2.4 fit my 2.0 ss...looking on turbocharging the cobalt..we already have the internalls imagine the horspower gain on alone 12 pounds of boost not no 205....

Doubt the 2.4 or 2.0 will work, those are totally different beasts.

They bolt patterns are the same between the 2.0 and 2.2, not sure about the 2.4, so yes you can if you really wanted to.

What are you trying to do exactly? Do you know what kind of turbocharger you're aiming for?

i live in Texas,,lots of junkyards out here in the dessert.. this old friend of mine just got a gst Misti.. i could buy a rebuild kit for the turbo use the same intercooler tried it it does fit...Hahn has a manifold that fiits..and a shop down here will do my custom pipping..ohh yeah hahn also has the downpipes for a Misti setup with our manifold... sell the supercharger and manifold foe a good 1500$ and still have more horsepower then a stock SS/

Well the thing you have to really look at is the specs on the turbocharger and how much a rebuild will cost you.

Also, don't forget, couplers...oil lines...the little stuff that you normally don't think about but are critical to have.

custom manifolds at shearerfabrications.com are works of art !
also just started a 2.4 turbo project .... on my sol !
the manifolds are gorgeous ..lol...worth the trip to the site
