that doesn not sound right, im not going to leave it in first and go into boost, its an auto, thats horrible on the tranny

wut? your telling me you'll never go into boost of the line or at low speeds 10-20 mph? what does it being an auto have anything to do with it?

how is the trifecta tune on the 2.2 supercharged 5 speeds? Any .02. Im thinking about doing a supercharged kit on mine but i dont want to mess around with a shitty tune, then end up taking the kit off and going back to stock. Also, what labor did you have done? And if you dont mind, what did the tune cost and how long did it take?

Think he has a custom tune by SMG. and Trifecta has been doing supercharge tunes for along time now. since recently It was the only way to get a tune unless someone dyno custom tuned it. HPtuners came out with thier 2.2 capability about a year ago i think.

Im waiting to use my trifecta supercharge tune. bought it last may but went different route and bought bike. now looking to supercharge.

yea its a custom dyno-tuned with hp by SMG... and labor was for all the installation of the parts for the supercharge build lol....then tuning was a few hrs cuz my car was running too rich and had to tweak the tune a bunch of times to get it to run right... idk dude i think for s/c build everything all said and done should be around 2 grand to 2,500 range. thats including parts and labor(tuning included) and i didnt buy a kit, i pieced my parts together..alot of deals off ebay..

So how does the car feel after SC? I was looking at v8 cars but for the price of 20k or so. Back and forth with what I wanna do driving me nuts. If I don't get another car I was just going to trick this one out. Body kit, rims, sc and then hit a few car shows. Looking at 4g it will cost if I get the zzp kit. But with taxes there might be some ss/sc going turbo so might find some good deals later in the year when I have money.

Haven't been in stage 2 sc car yet that's why not sure how it feels.

na, it would be the 2100ish for it, then the other amount on a body kit, paint it, rims, and tint windows. looking to come out around 4g cause paint will cost tons for the body kit cause i have sunburst orange. post some "on the road" vids. You should see if SMG will plug the silencer holes in the supercharger. get more of a whine at less RPM.

i think fred suggested i pulley to a 3 inch...i cant wait, i want to go smaller, but at the same time guess i dont wanna go boom... what have people been runnin on the 2.2's ? is 240 whp pushing it , before i blow up? i think we were estimating to get around a 225whp on a 3inch, and will probably run a few more lbs of boost than i am now,and pretty safe power...

currently running 225 whp/ 200 wtq... no problems yet. Been about 4 months.

Also, I'm on a 3.08" pulley, looking at a 2.9.

I used Trifecta. I REALLY want Area47 (bryan) to use HPtuners to look at my car since he's here locally but haven't got off my ass to go meet up with him. And not expecting much hp just more tq...

MAYBE 228 whp/215 wtq..?

Not entirely sure though.

The silencer holes are in the snout i think. theres a how to on to do it here, use liquid metal stuff to plug em up. let it harden and your good. dont get cheap stuff cause if that comes out, right in ur engine in goes.

2.9 pulley is safe. get 60lbs injectors and might need one stage colder spark plugs too. boost will be around 15 psi.
