My new turbo manifold

Well it's started. I'm gathering the parts for it. It's probably not all going to go together within the month like I planned unless there is a hurricane And I get some storm work.

As everyone on here knows their aren't many people who have this so far, so I'm learning as I go.

Anyway this is what came in the mail today.

It could use some honing but its what I could get. The turbo should be here next week.

Little tip, check clearances on the head flange before bolting it down. You may have to grind some material off the flange in order for it to seal against the head.

Thank you. Its going to be a little while before it goes on anyway but thanks for the tip.

If anyone has done a turbo swap and has some other pointers I would love them.

Someone gave me a link either from here or over on ecotec forums to an ebay page where I got it. It was less than 200 shipped.

I got the same manifold myself, need to have the flange cut though since it is a bit warped, gonna drop it off at my friends machine shop to grind it down a little.

I've got a similar one, but I had the guy make some changes to it. It's got a T3 flange and a 38mm wastegate flange

It'll probably go up for sale soon though. It'll work with a GT30, but will require a modification (adding about 2 7/8 in onto each primary) and might work with a gt28 with no modding, I'm not sure yet
