my supercharger sounds like a bunch of rocks in a tumbler
Hey, my 06, supercharger sounds like a bunch of rocks in a tumbler. not very loud but still. it does not sound smooth. it is normal? or i am not suposed to hear any sounds off the supercharger.

depends can you here it when the hood is closed?
and has it done this since you bought it,
they all make niose its jsut too how loud and the kind of niose, to mee sooo far is sounds normal but not sure, more detials, lol

well. i bought the car 2 weeks ago. it had 1550 klm on it. the supercharger was doing that sound.....i dont hear it when the hood is closed.

i got no boost lost or drastic variation. i always look at my boost gauge to see any fucktup and everything is looking fine.

i had the same issue. when i first got it i took it back to the dealership within 500 miles and talked to a supervisor, which then got me connected to the shop manager, which then connected me to the gm power division and was told that its a known issue, but does not require a recall. the 2 "rotors" are misaligned and the very end of the "rotors" by the snout, touch, which causes the grinding sound.

Had the same problem on my GTP as did many others. It turned out to be the coupler. ZZP sells them. Installed it and never had another noise out of it. BTW, my balt does it too. 9k on it
