Need help deciding!?!?!?

i have an 06 ss/sc with a jbp header, intake and torque dampener..... aka stock.... car is so close to paid off and i want to take that extra 300 every month and put it right back into the car, i just can't decide between the TVS and a turbo swap. i keep reading more and more about both but i'm still stuck. the TVS is tempting because it seems much simpler to install and manage. I don't know much beyond the basics of turbos but really don't want to spend the money on a kit when you can build a kit much cheaper. i feel turbo would gain me much more in the long run though, more power, better fuel economy. i guess I'm looking a little push. i drive 50+ miles a day so i'd like to have good gas mileage (32-33 right now). all my friends have there cars built up to around the 13 second mark and I'm tired of parking my car and riding with them cause i can't keep up. (I'm in the mile high city altitude = Fail)

opinions, pros and cons??

id go with a turbo setup. more expensive/complex but well worth it. i built my 06 2.2 as a daily driver. my goal was to build a fuel efficient daily driver with a shitload of power so i went with a gt35 turbo with the larger 84a/r exhaust housing for more lag. turbo spools up at ~4500rpm which gives me the city driving economy i wanted and the power when i need it. right now trifecta is doing the tuning for 20-25 lbs of boost. its currently only running 10 lbs until i get the wiseco low compression pistons, eagle rods, cometic head gasket and arp head studs. you obviously dont have to go to this extreme but 10 psi would be a nice daily driver and trifecta claims they tune these all the time and make 270 whp on a 2.2 with 10 lbs of boost.
