need some turbo help.

me and my friends were sitting around the other day and came up with the idea to throw a turbo in my balt.
i know nothing about turbos.
so i just laughed it off but then they did some serious talking about it and got me interested.
i have an auto 07 LT.
we got on this site did some looking around and came up with this.

Garrett® Turbo GT Tuner Kit (P/N 766621-2)

would this work right.?
and what else would i need.?

thank you for all your input.

yes it will work. you will need monitoring gauges, a new clutch if manual, tranny cooler if auto, and possibly engine work plus a tune

you wouldnt have to have a boost gauge, but it would be a good idea. same for oil....you want to make sure you keep the right oil pressure to make sure nothing is leaking or a line has blown off somewhere
