Question Noob To superchargers

I know i can adjust boost with changing my pulley size, but on the ZZP Eaton M62 theres a waste gate can i change boost with this? is there a electronic boost controller or a way to adjust boost besides changing pullys and tune?

Pulley and tune, but technically a ported head, better exhaust and cams will all lower the PSI while increasing power. PSI is a measure of the restriction so lowering the restriction lowers the PSI while increasing power.

On roots type blower, boost is altered by pulley ratio, or flow.

A reduction in restriction will lower boost ie. exhaust, ported head, etc.

You can not tune in the amount of boost like on a turbo car.

There is no "waste gate" on the M62 blowers. That is a boost bypass actuator.

Zzperformance sells one, though i have no idea how and if it works... never heard of anyone using one.

You wanna change your boost, drop the pulley size

By reduction for gear changes, but it can not increase it like on a turbo car.....

i assumed that was common knowledge lol. but i can see where a turbo guy could get confused

but actually, you can limit either 1st, or 2-5 gears, or inhibit boost all together.
you can even limit it due to iats, tcs, cot. the list goes on.

With HPT, yes. IDK what that funky supercharger controller ZZP sells can do though.
