porting the charger, how you like it?

well the m45 is coming off in a week or 2 and im going to get my dad to port and polish it since he has all the tools (owns a shop). How do you guys who have ported your chargers like it? does it pull harder, whine louder or whistle at idle any louder? (mine does but not sure about m62's). After the port and polish ill be upgrading my 2.6 pulley to the 2.5 which will be maxing out my charger at the limits and maxing out my mods list for the sunfire.

It's a little louder, but more importantlly I gained about two lbs of boost. Have you considered movng up to a m62?

You GAINED two lbs of boost? I was under the impression that porting reduced boost pressure, but still increased cfm.

Porting the blower allows more air to flow, resulting in more manifold pressure.
