possible turbo or maf issue

i was driving last night and its been raining around here so i was taking it easy obviously.. well i got into 4th and i tapped the gas just to get about 2 psi into boost but when i did the car bucked hard. it was weird. i tried it again and got the same results

so i went home and checked to see if a piece of charge piping came off after the maf but nothings off, everythings on tight. i did see a bit of water around the maf sensor tho, so im curious if that's the culprit. water's been getting past my projectors since i installed the kit cuz the piping pushes on the bumper so one of these days i need to cover up the wires around the maf alot more just in case.

im hoping its not the turbo again, cuz i already killed my gt30r last month and replaced it with this smaller turbo. the reason i dont think its the turbo is that if i do it slowly it spools ok and doesnt buck, but if i try to go about 50-75% throttle itll go about 2 psi and then buck. im also not seeing any codes and the afr is about normal. so its perplexing me.

anyone else think its a wet maf? its supposed to warm up today so hopefully by the time i get off work if its wet, itll be dry...
