Pulley size?

I looked around for a thread on this to no avail... maybe I'm just lazy.

Anyway, SCing my 2.2LAP and was wondering what size pulley I should be running for ~230hp

Also, does anyone know if the bottom end of the LAP is any better than the L61? I know the block itself is better but what about rods/pistons?

Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

First off the block between the LAP and L61 is the same if the L61 is an 07+. Internals are all the same too, the only difference in the two is the head. The LAP has an LE5 head that gives it vvt. That being said you can probably achieve those numbers with a 3.0 inch pulley depending on supporting mods and tuning. Best to build the engine though before worrying too much about numbers because if you beat on it much you could have the engine go out on you.

Well good, SC I'm getting has a 2.8 on it already, so I won't have to swap that out. Think 42# injectors will be a good match or would I have to bump up to 60#?
