Removing stock turbo

Does anyone have a how to on how to remove the stock turbo in the 2010 SS. I found a link on how to remove it but it doesnt include pics and we all know how to's are pretty much useless without pics. So does anyone have a link with pictures on how to remove the stock turbo

ive done a turbo swap on an ss/tc about 10 times now. if you need any help pm me anytime and i can walk u thru it. After about the 3rd time i have it down to a science lol. just a little tip, ive found that it is a lot easier if you take the rear transmission mount off. also use power tools, hand tools takes forever trust me.

Easy...remove intake and hot side pipe.remove heatshields.disconnect all sensors. Remove downpipe and o2 housing. If you remove the fuse box it makes the o2 housing easier to remove. Disconnect coolant and oil lines. You can leave the drain attached,

At that point all you should have left is to unbolt the turbo. 4 bolts it's off. That's just a quick undetailed way since I'm on the phone

Can you pull that line off with a pair of pliers, or is there a specific tool for it?

To take the whole line off the turbo just use a hex socket and universal joint to get to the small bolt. Then you can remove the line from the plate it is connected to with a fuel line disconnect tool.

Get one at your local auto parts place. I think its the 3/8 one. In the multicolor pack it is usually blue.

^ what he said..... use a tiny pry bar and some wiggling after you undo the 10mm botl and it comes right off

the bpv line just disconnect it or pull the bpv out and leave it connected.
