Starting to collect pieces for my LSJ-T swap and have a couple questions! *turbo newb

I am just starting to collect turbo swap pieces for my 07 LSJ. I am very new to turbocharging and just starting my researching to have a better understanding.

I was talking to a forum member and he made a mention about having to drill an oil galley on the back of the block if I were to use LNF oil feed/return lines. Is there anyway around not doing that? Does the zzp turbo swap kit even require that?

I am starting out with the k04 turbo, just want to do a basic swap and achieve 300+ and see how I like being turbo charged. I have 1000# ID injectors, euthanasia PnP head, k04 turbo, 02 housing, turbo manifold, various oil lines from an 09 tc and a manual boost controller.

My plan is too have parts to support a different turbo when I am ready and am not exactly sure where to start. I was lookin at the zzp intercooler kit for an LSJ-T. Not to sure about the manifold though.

Any and all helpful replies are appreciated.

Thank you.

you dont have to redrill the block at all. you just take one of the block bolts off right under where the turbo manifold will be and zzp sells the fitting to run you turbo feed line through there.

There is a whole turbo lsj thread that has all the turbo lsj's there and all of them can help you
