tuning

I have a 2010 ss NLS. When my foot is at the floor my rev limitor will kick in right as my rpm's hit the red. I know it still has so much power and i can go about 700 or so more rpm before i need to shift. (only when racing.) Do I need to tune it with a computer program to go past the rev limitor or is there a way I can go through the the display?

Need a tune, thats the only way. And if your stock turbo, the turbo runs out of breath around 5800 rpms so running it to 7k isnt that much better except it puts you at a higher RPM in the next gear.
