turbo help

alright i went and looked at my buddies turbo and snaged pics and checked shaft play. there is very little shaft play at all. just have questions.

1. what exactly model is it? i think its garret t3/t4 hybrid 50 trim
2.what are all the hoses?
3.what type of down pipe will i need?
4.is it internally wastegated?

appears to be internally gated. those hosed already attached are for coolant, the long stainless one is the oil drain.

i'm not familiar with the gate setups on internally wastegated turbos. but the coolant lines you'll connect to the coolant/heater hose lines on your engine. the long steel braided one will go from the turbo to the oil pan. and you can get a galley fitting to put in the rear of the block with a stainless line for the oil feed.

but honestly, if that compressor housing is a .50 a/r i can only imagine how small the turbine housing is. i would keep searching for a better turbo.

looks like the dp bolts on, not threaded into the housing.

lol that 320 number i through out there would be maxed out. 7psi on a turbo that small might actually produce less than a 2.8 m62 setup..

your stock internals will be able to hold that just fine. because you won't be making much power.

i def wouldn't pay 300 for it. i'd tell you to buy an ebay turbo first...worst comes to worst you rebuild an ebay one with Garrett internals..

dayta and glenn from MA both did the ebay thing with garrett internals.....i know a few fast hondas that have ebay turbos here without problems. would i use it on my car no, but looks like you're not gonna be putting down 1.5k for a turbo so..
lnf turbo would be better than that one, elecblue has an lnf setup on his 2.2 or 2.4, i think his is an upgraded wheel though.
