If you want to keep your car reliable on stock internals you really need to listen to me and not boost past 7 or 8. That will get you to around 220ish.

Just because the L61 is good up until 250 doesn't mean that it will remain reliable at 250.

If you want to boost now and not wait then you need to keep it BELOW the threshold in order to keep it reliable.

60lb injectors will probably be overkill for what you are wanting.

If you want to know if the turbo is in good condition take it to a performance shop in your area and ask them to take a look at it.

I spent 600 on the turbo alone. 800 is a steal for any setup on these cars.

Who's he? And the DP depends on what turbo you use. I got lucky and with where my turbo ended up being the DP just bolted right up to the turbo. However, depending on what you bolt up to your car you may need to take it to a welding shop and have the dp custom welded up for you.

see that's your first mistake. You're trying to mod your car like it's a ricer honda (no offense to the decent honda boys on here). These cars are never going to be built with cheap parts and act right. You want some honest advice? Graduate from school first so you can get a real paying job (at least if college isn't in your future) and then start thinking about what you want for your car. Get your priorities straight.

so you'd rather **** money away until you can buy a decent turbo set up that's worth purchasing and installing? I guess bro. But I'm not the kind of person that likes to do things over, especially if it's to fix something that was done the first time. I'm not coming down on you bro, I'm just saying, if you want to be happy with how you're modding your whip, then don't be cheap about it just because what appears to be a deal comes up.

that's cool. like i said, that's not kosher with me, but it's not my ride. But 800 is still a steal since you're getting more than just a turbo. With the ko4, you can even see boost of up to 12 psi or so on your stock motor and produce decent enough numbers.

save your money and don't half ass it. or be cheap now, half ass it, and make more expensive repairs and additions later.

already answered that.

but honestly, if that compressor housing is a .50 a/r i can only imagine how small the turbine housing is. i would keep searching for a better turbo.

I agree with Mexi and i don't think you understand what its gonna cost you to get that turbo on your car and running. I would save your money and i would bet that you will want a different car by the time you get out of BT.

yes. go to turbo tech racing and get their manifold. Downpipe can come from anyone, but just make sure you get a 3" and a 3" exhaust.

i doubt that turbo is a t3 being that small. and you'll have to have a custom downpipe made with an outlet like that.
