Turbo Parts

Hey everyone, how's it goin?
Just need some help with my car, its been turboed now sense 2008 running great until my vulcan racing turbo manifold cracked in the middle, then the studs stripping the threads and other issues, I fixed everything and still I'm getting sick of it. Now I have a few options to go with but one I wanna check 1st is what's everyone using for turbo manifolds and where who makes them., are they log style, ram horn, top mount, sidewinder, twin scroll and so on.

Also has anyone went to a precision 6262, 6466, or 6768 on their cobalt? And if so did u need to beat in the firewall?

Thanks for all the help in advance.

I recall that manifold.

Share some pics of the carnage?

Those are VERY big turbos for this little displacement motor.

Both base 3582R and 35X.

Comp inducer of 35R: 61.4mm
Comp exducer of 35R: 82mm
Turbine diameter 35R: 68mm

Comp inducer of 35X: 62.5mm
Comp exducer of 35X: 82.5mm
Turbine diameter 35X: 68mm

Comp inducer of 6262: 62mm
Comp exducer of 6262: 81.9mm
Turbine diameter 6262: 62mm

For granted, the PTE is a billet wheel, the specs are damn close. The GTX would be the closest to apples to apples.

All around. Garrett builds OEM quality. PTE leaves much to be desired. Hence the price difference.

For real! Where they have to downshift 2 gears to get it to spool.
