what to do with my 2.6 pulley

so i got a 2.6 pulley from intense the other day and learned when i was putting it on that it does not clear my snout, so appearently i would have to get my snout machined at a shop which would prob cost me lots of money and i dont think its worth it, now would it be possible to take a drimel and shave some of the inside of the pulley instead? i guess it wouldnt hurt to try cause i have like 3 or 4 pulleys just laying around the house, but i would like yalls opinion on this please

sometimes you have to machine the snout.... ZZP and other companies have a snout machining tool!

Hell, if you got 4 of em just chillin, why not try it, only thing is is that if it breaks because of heat after drimeling it, it could break something under the hood, ask the dealer what they would do?

ZZP has a snout shaver...

you basically hook it up to the supercharger, and just turn...

you can use hand tools or a power tool...

15-30 min.

i was gonna say dont do anything to the pulley, you could compromise its integrity. shaving the snout down is easy especially with a tool such as zzp's.

another thing, are you handy with filing? cuz if you are you could give it a go.. but i still think asking the dealer to do it for you for an extra... 100 bucks might be worth it? or go to Midas

Just take down the snout the best you can. There is plenty of material to take down. You shouldn't need much for the 2.6.
