Why to buy Devilsown alcohol injection kits.
Why to buy Devilsown alcohol injection kits.
We keep getting asked. What makes our kit better. Reliability. You buy a devilsown kit we want you to use it forever.
1. Our pumps really are methanol compatible. We tore Our pump, Coolingmist "AIS supplier" and the common diy pump. 4th picture down. Thats viton on the coolingmist pump and the DIY pump, Which we all know viton to not be compatible with methanol.

Why would anyone want a methanol injection pump that has internal parts that are not methanol compatible?
2. All of our fittings are nickel plated, Including our nozzles. Bare bass is not compatible. But people continue to use it.

3. Our nozzles are just hands down better. Just compare ours to theres.

* Ours is nickel plated so you don't' have to worry about the orifices being distorted over time.
* Ours have a wrench flat built into the nozzle. Might seem trivial but you don't' need vise grips to remove our nozzle. We made theses nozzles to last not have to replace them when you mess up the threads with vise grips. Or worse had to drill it out if you used thread locker.
* We have an O ring seat machined into the nozzle. Didn't just take a o ring and pop it on. There is a right way to do things and a wrong way. Doing this can cause the threads to chew into the o ring.

there is an old saying. you get what you pay for. sometimes it's better to go off and spend the extra cash to get the better piece, or do the research behind a simple piece as a nozzle. or a pump, or the simple fittings.
someone who will spend the day tearing apart a perfectly good system pump to find out how to make it better, or to find out how they do things. reverse engineering works. not someone who will take someone else's crap and rebadge it as their own, then go as far to insult the very people that make them money because they do not have a good answer for said question.
devils has my vote for a good honest vendor who ships amazingly fast

YaY.

Between the whole kit there are quite a few things that are different. I just wanted to point out our nozzles are reusable. Can be removed with a wrench, verse vise grips. Thus ruining them.
But most notable Our pumps we sell as methanol compatible are compatible with methanol..... Something i been biting my tounge about, but i thought i wouild let people know what they are getting.
After seeing a few guys with different methanol kits in this area... I have to say, I'm very impressed with the DevilsOwn kit.
When I get around to it, this will for sure get my buy!
Oh... and there's the fact that their staff is always willing to learn and improve.... unlike other retailers.
In my eyes, that's a big deal!

is there any truth behind methanol injection damaging the supercharger or engine block from regular use? I have heard of things happening from setups breaking but I wanted to know this before I purchased one.
when my blower was off. there was ZERO indication of anything irregular after about 6 months of spraying meth. however the intake manifold looked like a smurf exploded inside there

the funny thing about ur company and why i didnt buy from u is because u come on here and do bashing wars with another company when both kits are pretty close to the same...its all about who wants what...and i thought it was good at first since competition always benefits the paying customers but when u start lieing to make urs "seem" better or giving out information about a company when using something from 2006, someone needs to step in and since rodney from AIS did this once and got bashed for it i will point it out...
and another bad thing about ur kit is ur instructions on wiring it up..why do members have to make threads on this forum asking for help because there car is down and cant figure out the wiring on it? AIS's comes pre wired and tested...
stop making it a ours is better than urs fight between ur 2 companys because its getting childish
i had no problems with the intstall with my ais kit but i have never even looked at the other kits wiring diagram but i know the ais kit was easy and i called rodney and he said there oring was compaitiable with 100 percent meth... that pump was an 06 pump in the pic above... just stating the facts i got from ais direct...there both good kits its just up to what the buyer wants ... i wanted trunk mount with ease of installiation and thats excatly what i got... this is a buyers decsion not a vendors choice
Ok, i invite you since you feel you have nothing to worry. OPEN up your pump.... 3 screws. remove the pressure switch. And take a look. Before making the artical on the site i called shurflo to verify. Like i said feel free to pop it out. Or better yet if 1 person "cobaltstg2" please everyone dont' do it. Call shurflo. make it easy for ya. 800-854-3218 ask for tech support. Give them the model of the pump and ask them for the O ring material on the check valve. I wouldn't make a post like this unless i double checked. I have know about his since cm came out with the super special black pump.

i call bullshit on this..i never used a pair of vise grips to remove my nozzles on my AIS system...i used a wrench...and the compare on the pumps is nice but would be nicer if u compared one of the newer pumps instead of one that was built on may 9th 2006 (as stamped on the pump) all the 2007 and up pumps made by AIS have the new EPDM O-ring...

To my understanding, i thought u didnt even run your meth kit yet, because your car blew before u could install it? At least thats what i remember you telling me.
In regards to bold print.....it sure is.
Me, Raven, And Euthanasia, are all good friends, But this is where we differ. Im all for the devils own kit. They helped me out so much in the past, any technical questions, parts, and the flat out speed in which they shipped. All a meth kit is, is nozzles, hose, controller, pump and wire...Theres no need to spend anything over 350 bucks for one.
I will say this AIS offers some nice features, but the features dont out wiegh the price IMO.
Devils own, gave me exactly what i needed at a decent price. I back devils own 100%
