zzp s256 install into automatic

The oil drain back pipe on the bottom of the turbo and the wastegate dump tube run into the transmission. Anybody have this issue?

Can't say too many install it on the auto, engine is aligned slightly different. I'd get the parts to make a custom AN line anyways since even it it rubs on the transmission it won't really be a worry.

Matt feels maybe some wrong parts got packed. He's sending s different oil drain line and a recirculated downpipe. Quickest way to fix. Some of the best customer service I've ever gotten anywhere. Install resumes when parts arrive

Gravity, as all turbo drain back lines.

The oil drain fitting I have is straight not curved like the one you have and I have the dump tube angled lol.

Replacement is simply a longer hose with a fitting on each end. Automatic and manual transmissions are different shapes.

Everything installed and it runs. Driveability is poor. Tuning time, but we're having an ice storm.

Weather just won't cooperate. Can't test drive, can't tune, just detail, detail, detail. I hope it will pay off come show season.

Continuing to datalog when weather allows. She blew a coupler off and I've struggled to get it back on. Term2 is getting it there, it's going to be a wolf on sheep's clothing.

How much power will you be running? Will the trans hold it? I have my boost turned down because I don't trust the transmission lol

Do you believe the transmission can hold that much? I've turned it down to only 12 psi because I don't trust the trans to handle the torque

I believe with a little self restraint and a good boost ramp, the automatic transmission will live a reasonably long life. I don't beat on it a lot.

Ah so you don't like to have fun....lol jk but yeah I track my car and the racing scene is pretty big down here so don't see the transmission lasting at a higher boost level

I do lots of shows, and only 3 or 4 track days a year. Lots of young guys with mustangs here to pick on.

4-1-15 Update... Car is together and boosting to 28, tuning will continue............
