- Anyone know if a 272 grind or the JBP cams would be better for twin charged?
when you do cams, do you feel that gaining boost pressure is good or bad.

when you figure this out, you will find the answer.

should be ok people are putting down 350 whp in turboed balts on stock engines.. and the m62 shouldn't be creating as much heat due to the huge pulley

It basically personal preference. They will both make around the same hp/tq depending on the tune. But how they make the hp is the main difference. Tell me which Dyno graph you like better?

Twincharged

Or

Hahn

Notice how the Twincharge kit makes hp and tq much faster then the hahn kit. Its called turbo lag.....

i like the turbo.. you guys have **** for traction as it is.. the twincharged is awesome but whats more power down low id you cant use it?

also hahn is producing numbers on a huge turbo with big hp number capabilities..

they're both awesome.. but it's preference like you said

Well, boost is good, and more of it cant be bad. however I want to make sure its "efficient" boost. i really dont care about the boost level. but from what i have learned, ( and this may be wrong) You should lose boost when upgrading your camshafts. I know you know more than I do about this stuff. Please educate me.

pure and simple. the "tri-flow" made by colt cams are a joke. making an engine more efficient, you need less "boost" to make the same power, if not more. hence why i did 274 on a 3.06 pulley. efficiency. not cramming.

I'll wager he'll say 272....thats just me though.
The 280's are aggressive, very aggressive from my understanding.

I know it will be traction issues but i cant help to love the torque curve on the twin charge. I just think that would be pretty nice going down the highway in 5th gear. And everyday driving i dont really go above 4g RPMs so having the power down low just makes efficient driveability in my opinion.
Its what ever you want though.

This kit and the Hahn kit both look very appealing BUT no one is yet to know how this is going to work with our tranny. And what will have to do to upgrade if need be. Some info here would be Awesome and I think i speak for everyone on that one!

Honestly man, I really dont think the tranny will be a problem if its not abused. Has anyone even messed up a transmission due to nothing but horsepower yet? I would think that axles and a good clutch should be fine?.?

Oh ok well man I was just wonderin I havent heard ANYONE say anything about the tranny before so i was just saying I havent looked into it so just wonderin but your probably right. Def need better axles then a Bad up Stage 3? cluth possibly? GOOD to GO screw the warranty lol. If I bought this kit my dad would kill me. The car is in his name although I pay for it and he always complains everytime I buy something for it. Cant wait to see his face friday when I go get tuned!

If you drive the car properly and not beat the crap outta the tranny, it will survive.
