Do some research before you criticize. Then you wont look like a dumb ass.

And if you read the rest of the post you would have, or at least should have been able to see the point of the whole post, not just nitpick a single line......The point was that everyone is coming out with huge number producing numbers, which is fine and dandy, and hyping such a a badass price, and how it'll be so much lower than everyone elses.
Then, in the end, the whole thing gets delayed, backordered and costs pretty much the same.
So one guy makes 411 WHP, great, glad he pushed it that far, while using a single turbo, not twincharge. Is he going to travel the US and tune everyone who buys this setup so they don't go blow their motors skyhigh?
If they can make this power relaibly over an extended period of time, and make it for a good price, fantastic...All I'm saying is for once in my life, I would love to see a vendor make a product, test it over a period, and by the time he came to the forums, it'd be production ready, have safe tuning data and max out tuning data, and a price.
If this turns out to be a legit setup, I'm all over it, still missing the one thing that should have already been there....the price.
The comment about the 400 hp tunability is frustration at the fact that no matter where I look, I can't seem to get a solid answer as to when(HP wise) does our **** blow???? I know GM did a thing where they took one of our motors and ran it till it blew, but the fact this guy is going 411 to the wheel just proved that whole data sheet inaccurate, thus my frustration

bigboy is going to pissed when he hears that! Trust me I've been in places where no alcohol is allowed, and I'd much rather be where he's at without it so I can actually do my job and disarm those IED's instead of being in the rear with the gear! WOOT!

ill keep my eyeballs on this to see what happens.
oh and as i was reading through i saw someone say something about how they had to calculate the boost the turbo made then the how much the blower would compress the already forced air on the cavy, well it got me thinking, and correct me if im wrong, but roots dont compress air and wouldnt the forced air be slowed causing less pressure in the manifold? this is purely me wondering / thinking so someone correct me.

Yes, he made that power on turbo but the twin charged setup is not much different. Blower gets you moving and then the turbo takes you home. Once the turbo is properly spooled the blower opens its bypass valve and lets the turbo do all the work.
Yes there will be some parasitic hp loss from still spinning the sc but since its not boosting it will be very low like 10hp. Which has already been mentioned in this thread.

It would be great to learn, but here's the complication......try sifting through endless pages of threads before finally coming to something that actually explains the science behind it....I'm not against the concept of this setup, if it works, fantastic, I just want to know how and why.....Someone above just kind of answered it by saying the TVS was designed to be used on highly modded cars.
I don't proclaim to be all knowing, in fact, I'm the first one to admit when it comes to moddin cars, I'm still new, so if I can find some bit of info that shows me the science behind this, and I can learn it, I'd call it a good day.
With no definative numbers on when internals go, I have to look at everything with scrutiny. What about the tranny, can it sustain those torque numbers on daily drivability and launches? If not, what do we have as a replacement option?

things change technology gets better and power comes in different ways. So 2 yes ago 300whp could have been the max. Last year 400hp could have been the max. Tomorrow 500 could be it. Same things happened with the lt1s. A couple yes in 350whp with heads and cam you were doing great. Now 450whp heads cam setup your doing what everyone else is

Hmmm, I would like to see what this thing is really about. I am glad we are finally getting good aftermarket support, thank you ZZP.
BTW, when you release the TVS are you going to include all the little 'extra' mods you need to the MAP and/or MAF?
I can for see someone trying this....turbo and TVS. twincharge....but witht hat combo I see numerous blown ****.

If everything works out with this kit then it's definitely gonna be the way to go. Don't you realize how much this eliminates you from buying? No cai, sc stage kit (save the bigger injectors and colder plugs), no header AND no downpipe seeing that most of that stuff is replaced with this kit... Sorry I'm kinda talking to myself more than anyone else. Just sorting it out. Really the only supporting mods need would be an aftermarket cat-back exhaust.
However, I too question the capability of stock internals and the stock transmission and such. I'm sure it would all hold up nicely to mild boost and tuning but I would probably do some upgrading just to be safe. In this end this will most likely come out to be more than I originally planned on spending. But who cares... The hp difference in this and what I woulda ended up with would totally make up for it.
Now for two big questions. Price and installation time?!

I think they are planning on offering just a straight turbo kit as well. Don't quote me on that, but I thought that was the other part of this kits development since it's essentially a full turbo kit anyhow.
