General Motors introduces the new Chevrolet Cobalt SS coupe in a big way, with an army of Cobalt SS coupes lined up on 35th Street outside the Javits Center and the New York International Auto Show Thursday, March 24, 2005. Each of the 75 vehicles is bound for one of the 75 Chevrolet dealerships in the Tri-State area.

WOW. thats alot of cobalts compared to what we've seen. i wish one of those were mine. are all of those red?

Personally if I ordered a car I would be pretty upset if it got driven around for a couple hundred plus miles before it got to me.

 

That would be sweet to get one that has the cobalt/chevy revolution vinyl on the windshield too. Hopefully they dont remove them before selling them.

They probably will. The Xtreme S10 comes with a Windshield sticker about the same as the Cobalts had but they aren't installed at time of sale because certain localities make that illegal. They give you the sticker and let you install it if you want.

More than likely it's a vinyl/static cling decal that would be pulled off.

 

The good news is, those are gonna sell as used

 

Hmmm something inside me makes me say.. " You should of waitied and TRYIED to pay the difference to pick up an SS/sc " Every time I see one of them!..

OK... Who ever lives close to me... And gets an SS/sc.... I have one favor to ask... Can I JUST DRIVE IT FOR LIKE 5 minutes with you in it??????? Just to get it out of my system!

gotta love chevy for making you think all 75 where ss s/c. only about 9 where, the rest were fully loaded ls sport coupes minus onstar. onlt the top nine dealers drove off in ss s/c's. the one my dealer got was an ls.

 

oh mannn i live in jersey and i ordered a red ss/sc that my dealer said would be in, in a few weeks, so maybe one of them is mine! that would be so cool

68 of them are ls sport coupes. Only 7 are SS/SC.

 

ok just found out, they are not all SS's

 

I attended that show yesterday. They also had 2 red ones on display inside. One with the red/ebony interior. The second one had a sunroof and the recaro seats. I work for a Chevy dealership and I can't wait til we get our first one. The first one we have scheduled to come in is a rally yellow one. I'll take pics when we get it.

Have a Black SS ordered with Blue on black interior....Can't wait...gonna be about 3 or 4 weeks.
