Denny,
I am really impressed with your right up, i got 2005 chev colbalt SS/SC and working my way through my mods and god knows i would really enjoy sitting down with you to talk options, but i got 2 questions for you 1) i really headed towards adding the stage 2 kit can i combine what u have done specially when it comes to the pully change 2) what is this MALF you keep refferring to i probably missed something but please explain??
and i lied i have 3 rd question 3) this step 1 cold spark plug never seen this call out on the ngk spark plug
if you can help me out with some of these question i would be grateful
P.S between 1 to 10, 10 being highest how far would u go to say ZZP is a reliable product all around?

To answer your questions:
1)You can buy stage 1 (Injectors + tune) and get a ZZP modular pulley. But then you void your warranty so no point in buying the stage 1.
2)MAFT is a piggyback computer that is used to control the Fuel mixture. It works well but a HPtuners custom tune is better.
3)Dont understand your question.
If I was to rate ZZP.....mmm.. I love those guy's, excellent customers service.
Their products are a good 10 out 10. They back up their products 100%.
what exactly is voiding the warranty? the stage kit or the pully.
But i think i am going to go with the stage 2 kit and then kinda work from there what do u think?? any suggestions based on this idea??
as far as my spark plug question, i was just really asking what u meant about the "1 step colder gapped"
Just as a side note the Aeroforce Interceptor gauge i planning to buy the colum that kinda lets you add to gauges so i was going keep the stock boost gauge and add the interceptor gauge as a second gauge. think there would be any issues with that???

I dont think your knock was coming from fuel, it mostly comes from timing. I would invest in a wide band A/F controller, and a pyrometer to control your timing.
It sucks you cant see whats really going on like knock voltage and actual A/F, @ friends om mine run AEM Standalone and we tune that all the time.
I would get HPTuner and spend some time on the dyno, get a lot more life out of your motor.
but thay actually richen the A/F to lower cumbustion temps to run more timing and that is where you could have been geting knock from. you get more performance out of timing than you do the A/F, and if it was changed from factory or more air 2.6" thats probobly why.
