that's about what i average on the highway as well when im putting around. It's about 40 mpg imperial.

You can say that again, this cars PC rewards STEADY feet, if you move the pedal around when you drive the car never reaches peak fuel economy.

I've also found that if I accelerate a few MPH above my goal speed, I can coax the mileage up to where I want faster by letting off the gas and letting the car settle into the speed as opposed to just holding the pedal there. It seems that alone gains about 5mpg, I really wish the ECU would be faster at leaning out.
