Average MPG in your Cobalt

What is your average MPG in your Cobalt PER TANK OF GAS

This is the # your DIC shows, not what you get using the "old-school" math method.

I'm not talking about the one time you reset it going 62 on your trip to TN and got 47 mpg, I mean what is your usual average week to week (or fillup to fillup)

I usually end up in between 30 - 32 on the DIC on my work week. Thats driving normal and no WOT runs. Its a mix of highway and city about 82 miles round trip per day. I fill up Sunday, and then end up refueling again Thursday morning.

I average 28+. That's city, highway, and spirited drives.

I get about 23 and I have a heavy foot but I use cruise control on any stretch of road 1 mile or longer so I dont speed but at the same time can go the max legal speed when I dont mean to speed.

my 2007 2.2 AT, with k&n short ram and ss/sc down-pipe and exhaust gets an average of 24-25 almost all city driving and short highway runs. so about 310 miles per tank some times less.

I usually get about 36-38 MPG reseting it each time. I also mostly shift at 2K, and dont really come close to boost very often. Plus, it is mainly "highway" driving around here, there is no stop and go anywhere. Lol

Clicked LNF and meant LSJ...oops. Still getting about 27-28 mpg on a bone stock ss/sc cobalt. About 80% highway and 20% city. The DIC says 30, but doing the math at the station, its clearly optimistic.

2.4 LE5 Ecotec

i usually get 21.3 or 21.7 city depending on my driving habits. 19 if I do a lot of fast accelerating. Get into 5th gear as much as you can cause thats the gas saver. I noticed my mpg varys a lot differently from 4th and 5th gear. like the 19 as apposed to 21

I get about 40 highway only going 60-65 and not using the gas on hills. I get about 25-30 city since I'm a slow accelerator and I try not to accelerate when going up or down hills, just maintain speed going up and let gravity increase my speed when going down. Display says it's an overall average of 30.7

Last night when I checked it was at 27 and bounces between that and 26.9. (It's a 2.4 btw). How are people in the 2.4 getting between 35 and 40?

my mpg just went up for some reason. Used to be 29 or 30 just about all of the time, but it's currently at 32? Only thing that has changed is the temp outside. I still just drive the car to work one day a week and maybe to the store on Sunday.

most of the time ill get 35.6 or more as i usually drive highway to my girlfriends house which is 110 miles one way. i tend to take it easy most of the time but every now and then ill accelerate fast to hear the intake. if i really take it easy, a couple of times going to my girlfriends i got 40 mpg avg but it was hard to do as i was constantly watching the dic to make sure i got good gas mileage.

All highway driving?

I get a brutal split on mine. Basically 20 mpg city, 40 mpg highway.

Unfortunately I do about 100% city driving on a normal basis.

Almost always 33-35 Imperial MPG. Highway at 125-130 K, and in town at 40-60 K. Almost 50/50.

Edit: Btw Reign, nice idea on the poll finally. Maybe a sticky so noobs can't post new "whats your mpg?" threads?...
