Before I got my trifecta tune, 45mph and 70mph were my cruise control set 'mph' spots where I would get my best mpg. I could easily pull 37 or 38 per gallon on a reasonably flat stretch. I've tested that on drives up to 3 hours and like I said, 70mph worked best for me. After my trifecta tuned on 91, I tried to use the same cruise control zones as stock, and found that I don't get the same results. At 70 mph cruise control with my tune I pull 25-28mpg highway. However, I found that if I cruise control 55mph, 37-39 is a steady number. My best on trifecta so far is 40.7. Also note that I have an automatic transmission on my 2006 Cobalt SS 2.4L (Mods in Sig)

I bought my used 09ss a few weeks ago with 34K on it. It is totally stock and have averaged 22mpg over the past few hundred miles according to the computer... a little dissapointing given it hasn't been driven very hard. thats mostly around town mileage though too.. Hopefully it gets closer to 30 on a highway road trip we have coming up...

2009 SS/TC Coupe. Last read was 273 Miles on a full tank at 22.4 MPG. 50/50 Highway/City. It's painful.

Our cars are great if you're doing Highway miles and you stick it on the Instant MPG DIC. There's a magical threshold that you have you're foot at that seems to work. Going 60 MPH I get around 32 Instant, 70 MPH 30 Instant, and 80 MPH is 26-28 Instant. On my last road trip that was all highway I got 26.7 Average. ( I floored it a few times :/)

Drove to Orlando (all highway) and got 37mpg. Typically with my work commute I get 28-30 with 30/70 city/highway.
